Easter Morning Dive

Today Jim and I headed for the winter time hotspot Brewers Mills. Even though there is a strong current it is still a good winter dive spot, especially when you are craving the need to get in the water. We found the water temperature to be a warm 37F/3C. I can say warm because we both were sweating in our dry suits from swimming against the current. We did find a few stems from a pipe and a bowl. We did not get to the deepest part of the bowl as we were whipped around by the current but we did hit the 20 ft mark.

So, did you guys use any fabric softener during the final wash cycle?

Brewer's has been brutal this year - to the extent that it's been worth cutting the ice to get a decent dive...

Still - in less than a month we'll have the Lake back - something to really look forward to...

Fabric softner no no, dive gear is suppose to smell bad. It has been brutal but any dive is better then no dive. If people are considering Brewers I might suggest two cars with one being at the bridge and a second down river it would make for an easier dive. As for another month till the ice is gone I was hoping sooner withthe green house effect.
