There wasn’t much underwater life, some bass and minnows; but there were about 100 duck’s that we chased off the boat ramp as we entered. There is a lot of stuff down there to see now that the visibility is better. In low visibility there just seems to be less. If it is not visible it doesn’t exist. Now I know that there are two underwater-cars in the area. How long have they been there?

ReplyDeleteAs a reminder for Steve - and for anyone else who may be interested - the bearing to the barge from the area just to the left of the ramp slope (by the right-angled plate) is 120. A gentle swim should cross the pipeline in 4 minutes and reach the barge about 4-5 minutes later. En route landmarks include the remnants of a boat boarding ladder and an upright rudder post (looking like an upside-down golf club).
